Who is behind Label Shuddha?
We are Adyathan and Sanjana, a husband and wife who started Label Shuddha with one belief, that authentic handloom sarees deserve to be presented with honesty and elegance. Every saree on this website has been personally sourced, photographed, and listed by us. When you order from Label Shuddha, you are buying directly from us, not a warehouse, not a middleman.
Are these sarees really sourced directly from weavers?
Yes. Every saree we carry comes directly from weaver clusters in Narayanpet and Jangaon in Telangana, and from traditional weavers in Tamil Nadu. We visit these weavers personally, select the sarees by hand, and bring them to you without any middlemen involved. This is why our quality is consistent.
What does "Label Shuddha" mean?
Shuddha means pure in Sanskrit. That one word defines everything we stand for, pure sourcing, pure fabric, pure presentation, and pure trust with every customer.
What types of sarees do you sell?
We currently carry the following collections, Narayanpet Cotton, Vintage Cotton, Aarini Cotton, Kalyani Cotton from Tamil Nadu, Heritage Cotton, Checks Cotton, and Maheshwari sarees. Each collection has its own character, weave origin, and fabric feel. All products are described in detail on their individual product pages.
Do the sarees come with a blouse piece?
This varies by product and is mentioned in each individual product description. Please check the product page of the specific saree you are interested in for blouse piece information.
What is the length of the sarees?
Standard saree length is 6.25 metres including blouse piece where applicable. Specific measurements are mentioned in each product description.
Will the colour look exactly the same as in the photos?
We photograph every saree in natural daylight without filters or colour correction. We make every effort to represent the true colour accurately. However, screen calibration varies from device to device, and handloom fabric colours may appear slightly different under different lighting conditions. A very minor variation in tone is natural and expected, this is the nature of authentic handloom and not a defect.
Do handloom sarees have minor irregularities in the weave?
Yes, and this is intentional. Handloom sarees are woven by hand on pit looms by skilled craftspeople. Minor thread variations, slight unevenness in the weave, and small texture differences are inherent characteristics of genuine handloom fabric. They are not defects, they are proof of authenticity. A perfectly uniform, machine-smooth saree is almost always powerloom.
How do I wash and care for my saree?
For cotton handloom sarees, we recommend the following, first wash by hand in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not wring. Dry in shade, away from direct sunlight. From the third wash onwards, gentle machine wash on a delicate cycle is acceptable. Do not bleach. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results. For Maheshwari sarees with zari borders, dry cleaning is recommended for the first wash.
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our collection, select the saree you want, and click Add to Cart. Proceed to checkout, fill in your delivery details, and complete payment. You will receive an order confirmation on your email and WhatsApp immediately after payment.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking, and EMI options for orders above ₹3,000. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, which is PCI DSS compliant and trusted by thousands of Indian brands.
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Yes. Our website uses SSL encryption and all card and UPI payments are processed through Razorpay's secure payment gateway. We never store your card or banking details. You will see the secure padlock in your browser address bar at checkout.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can be cancelled or modified within 12 hours of placing them, provided they have not yet been dispatched. Please contact us immediately on WhatsApp at +91 95609 96878 or email labelshuddha@gmail.com with your order details. Once dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted.
I placed an order but did not receive a confirmation. What should I do?
Please check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still cannot find it, contact us on WhatsApp at +91 95609 96878 with your registered email address or phone number and we will resend your confirmation immediately.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship across all of India. International shipping is coming soon, if you are based outside India and would like to be notified when it launches, please reach out to us on WhatsApp or email.
How long does delivery take?
All domestic orders are delivered within 10 business days of dispatch. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Metro cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai typically receive orders faster.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders above ₹2,000. A standard shipping charge of ₹100 applies to orders below ₹2,000. Shipping charges may vary slightly based on your location and the courier partner assigned to your pincode.
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
Once your order is dispatched, we will send your tracking number directly to your WhatsApp within 24 hours of dispatch. You can use this to track your shipment on the courier's website.
What courier partners do you use?
We ship through Shiprocket, Delhivery, Blue Dart, and DTDC depending on your pincode and service availability in your area.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery if the saree arrives damaged or is significantly different from what is shown on the product page. Please photograph the issue clearly and contact us on WhatsApp at +91 95609 96878 or email labelshuddha@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
Can I exchange my saree for a different one?
Exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery provided the saree is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition. Return shipping charges are borne by the customer. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process.
What if my saree arrives damaged?
This would be entirely our responsibility. Please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund immediately with no questions asked.
Can I return a saree if I simply changed my mind or don't like it after receiving it?
We understand this can happen. However, because each saree is a unique handloom piece sourced directly from weavers and held in limited quantity, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. We encourage you to read the product description carefully and reach out to us on WhatsApp before purchasing if you have any doubts, we are happy to share additional photos or videos of any saree before you decide.

Most online saree sellers are resellers who buy from wholesalers and have no direct connection to the weavers. We visit the weavers personally, select each saree by hand, and bring it to you directly. We also photograph every saree ourselves in natural light without filters. You will never find misleading product descriptions, or powerloom sarees presented as handloom on our website.
I am new to buying sarees online and I am nervous about the colour and quality being different. What should I do?
This is completely understandable and we take it seriously. Here is what we suggest, reach out to us on WhatsApp at +91 95609 96878 before placing your order. Share which saree you are interested in and we will send you additional photographs, close-up texture videos, and answer any questions you have. We would rather spend 10 minutes helping you feel confident than have you receive something that did not meet your expectations.
Can I see more photos or a video of a specific saree before buying?
